Thank you; A small update about the companion tools

Neko enjoys some writing time in the loft.

Friends,

Thank you for the messages, the encouragement, and even the photos of the book in your hands. That kind of response has meant more than I can easily say.

This space has been quiet for a bit. As I transition back to Indiana, I’ll likely write more about the desert — our second season there, which has felt something like a sophomore year of learning how to play the wise-fool in the Sonoran landscape.

There’s one small update I wanted to share.

Alongside the writing of Start Anywhere, I built a few simple digital tools — small, specific practices that helped me return to the present when my thinking drifted into the past or future, or into sorting and labeling mode.

Originally, I had planned to keep those tools available only to readers of the book. But that never quite sat right with me.

They were created as companions — not rewards. So I’ve decided to leave them open.

If you visit apps.vergilscoffeetable.com, you’ll find the current “ready-to-use” tools. Click on any one and you can begin. No codes. No gates.

They’re there if helpful. Nothing more than that.

And if someone stumbles across that page and finds something useful, that feels like the right kind of circulation.

Thank you again for being here — for reading, for responding, for walking alongside.

Peace,

Chris
